World Premiere: Ricardo Campello's thrilling attempt for the Triple Loop
Ricardo Campello is 23 years old. Born in Brazilian Ricardo now lives in Venezuela. The multiple freestyle World Champion is discussed to be one of the most radical windsurfers of nowadays.
This he proved impressively during the PWA World Cup on the Gran Canarian spot Pozo Izquierdo. The master of double loops tried the first ever Triple Loop on a windsurfboard during a competition.
His sponsors JP Australia and Neil Pryde offered him 10.000 USD if he finishes the jump successfully. Unfortunately Ricardo crashed at Pozo. But now his motivation grew to a next level: He knows for sure that the unbelievable thing is possible. Doing three rotations in the air with a nearly 4 meters long mast - a big challenge. Ricardo Campello is the one who made the first step towards a new dimension in windsurfing.
