Windsurfing isn’t just fun – it’s also a record-breaking sport. The fastest man on the water, for example, has been Antoine Albeau until recently, when he was overtaken by a yacht sailor. His speed record of 49.09 knots (90.91 km/h) made him the fastest guy sailing the water, faster than high-tech sailing boats, between summer 2008 and summer 2009. Then sailors won the record back: with the Hydroptere, they raced the current world record of 51.36 knots.
