Terms of use for the download and the usage of the pictures and text-files delivered in the download-areas of the World of Windsurfing e.V. (WOW).

Ensuing, the terms and conditions of use, including the legal definitions of the relationship between the World of Windsurfing e.V. (WOW) and the user of the pictures and text-files delivered on the websites of WOW:

Images and text-files in the download-areas of WOW (www.worldofwindsurfing.net / .org) are delivered for free to the users excluding specialized windsurfing publications, both online and print.

 

As the objective of WOW is to provide press with excellent images and editorial content, the distribution is limited to editorial purposes and hereby excludes any use for advertising and other commercial purposes. Texts and images may be used freely for the promotion of the sport of windsurfing but shall not be sold for commercial purposes or used for any purpose other than the promotion of the sport of windsurfing without the prior written approval of the original publisher (owner). All images shall be credited as mentioned in the title of the photo file.

With the transfer of a photo or text data-file the user attains neither ownership nor any other rights to the digital picture or the text-file. The user is permitted only to use the digital picture within the terms of the agreement concluded between the user and WOW.

 

All rights to the digital picture and text-file remain with WOW and/or the party providing the material. Any forwarding of the data-file to third parties is forbidden. The transfer of data-files to the user does not guarantee exclusivity of use unless separately agreed upon.

By using the materials, the user signifies its agreement to all terms, conditions, and notices contained or referenced herein.
