Windsurfing does not equal windsurfing. In other words, there are many associations, disciplines and even more titles. Head of all these is the PWA – the professional windsurfers association.

Besides professional races and competitions, there is a large numer of fun contests that anybody can enter. These have become more and more popular lately, mainly due to the fact that it’s very easy nowadays to learn windsurfing and then get to a lever where you can compete with your mates.
