Is windsurfing hereditable?

Brothers and Sisters: Family Business
Even though windsurfing is an individual sport, the presence of friends makes this experience perfect. You can tell them about your latest heroic deed on the water, they are eye-witnesses when you manage your latest maneuver for the first time and they can animate you to do new records. It is even better when the surfer buddy is a brother or sister. At least, the brothers and sisters who caused a sensation in the world cup allow this assumption. So it seeems that the Morenos, Pritchards, Moussilmanis, Frans, Jensens, Offringas of this world talk about nothing else than windsurfing during family dinner.

Successfull Surf-Brothers and Sisters
The Norwegian brothers Vidar and Orjan Jensen made themselves at home on the topspot Pozo Izquierdo on Gran Canaria. The Spanish magazine "Fuerza 7"  already announced a tribal war between those two Northeners and the other two popular inhabitants of the place: For years, the Canarian twins Daida and Iballa Moreno have together been dominating the freestyle  and wave competitions of the PWA. Often, the only question is, who of those two brings the title home. In the discipline freestyle, the 15 year old Sarah-Quita Offringa from Aruba is becoming a rival for them. Meanwhile, her brother Quincy wants to make a name among the boys. The good-looking brothers Taty and Tonky Frans, which are also from the Carribean perform magic in the male's competitions. Tonky also started Slalom 42 of the PWA, where Kevin and Matt Pritchard also surf for the title each year. The Moussilmanis are even a genuine windsurf-trio "made in Marseille". The three brothers are multiple talents and look good in skiing, snowboarding, mountainbiking and wave riding.

In any case, the success proves that this family enterprise is good. So, whoever accuses the surfstars of cronyism at the world cups will only get a weary smile.
