Olympic Coin Set 2008 contains a Windsurfing Motive

In Poland the Olympic windsurfing discipline RS:X and the racing discipline Formula Windsurfing are very popular. This might be a reason why the windsurfing motive has been chosen for the 10 Zloty silver coin within the four pieces set. On the occasion of the Olympic Games in Beijing this coin has been minted mainly for collectors and connoisseurs.

In addition to the motive windsurfing the Olympic disciplines, which decorate the other three coins of the set, are pole vault (200 Zloty), swimming (10 Zlyoty) and rowing (2 Zloty). On each value side there are motives with reference to the Chinese country.

The windsurfing coin shows a hole in the middle, which shall remember of former Chinese coins.
