National Windsurfing Teams

Upcoming soon will be held some major sport events like the European Soccer Championships and the Olympic Games. Every country will send its best athletes – the “national team” to win the titles. What about the national windsurfing teams then?

Windsurfing is not a team sport like soccer. There is no official ranking by countries either. However, the athletes are proud to represent their home country, and it is not only behind the scenes that an unofficial competition between the participating nations takes place at every international event.

That’s why we draw parallels to athletics for example, where every sportsman competes individually in the different disciplines, but all fight ad gloriam for their home country.

Advancing the European Soccer Championships, we will present to you in the upcoming weeks the most important European windsurfing nations. As the "World of Windsurfing" embraces far more than Europe alone, we will add more and more nations around the globe to be prepared for the Olympic Games.
