The combination Antoine Albeau und JP proves to be un-stoppable: Yesterday, Antoine became Formula World Champion in Mendoza (Argentina).
After winning the PWA 2009 Slalom World Cup with 6 out of 7 events, he has now won the Formula World Championship with 7 out of 15 races and achieving two 2nd and two 4th places. None of the competitors came even close: Antoine won with a final score of 24 points.
Already 3 days before the end of the event he was so far ahead of the fleet, that only in theory anyone could have taken his title.
Antoine is currently the fastest windsurfer in the world last year, he reached a speed of 49,09 knots (90,91 km/h) on a 500-m-distance.
