First PWA world cup title for the Belgian freestyle windsurfer

Steven van Broeckhoven wins his first world cup title at the PWA event in Podersdorf, Austria. After 5 days with constantly changing weather conditions and long waiting periods, the Belgian surfer wins his first title, beating Davy Scheffers - who came third and Kiri Thode, who came third.

Steven is very excited about his title: "“For me, this is the first time i’ve won a world cup event. It feels like i’m dreaming! I’m really happy, and really motivated to go for it this year. During the heat i was just sailing for myself, so i didn’t know how well i’d done against Kiri. I was just trying to do my best. (...) This should be a good year!"
