10.000 USD is the reward offered by his sponsors JP Australia and NeilPryde

JP Australia and Neil Pryde have renewed their reward of 10.000 USD to Ricardo Campello, three times Freestyle World Champion, for finishing the first ever Triple Loop in windsurf history. JP additionally has raised its offer by 5.000 USD, in case he finsihes a Double Push or a Back Loop.

In 2008 Ricardo was the only windsurfer worldwide, who even has tried a Triple. During the PWA Super Session in Pozo, on the Gran Canary Island, he tried the Triple Loop and came close to finish with 2 1/3 rotations. (Watch the video on Youtube here.) Now he knows that this is possible, and he is convinced that he is able to do that. This year he is resolved to earn this bonus.

Ricardo is ready. His helmet and his protection gear are prepared.

Ricardo: “I can plan Doubles – no problem. My experience last year taught me, that it is possible to do the Triple. I just need very good conditions and a good ramp, then I will do it for sure. Let’s hope that it will be a typical Pozo day.”

The forecast looks promising. In fact it seems to be very windy until the end of the week – so the probability increases that Ricardo Campello will write history and set a new milestone in windsurfing.
