Windsurf vacation by car

Everyone knows the typical stereotype of surfers: an old VW transporter, packed with surfboards at a lonesome beach. If you travel with your own car or RV and surf equipment, Europe is yours. You should also wrap your equipment carefully, so it will not be damaged on the plane or on the way to the airport. A simple boardbag is often not enough. An additional cushioning or so-called board bags which are appropriate for planes can be bought in specialist shops. In addition, you should check out before if you can store your surf equipment on the spot. Most surf centers offer the storage of private equipment for a low fee. That way, the complete rig can stay safely in a rig stand while you are out partying.

For those who do not want to travel with bulky luggage or prefer to use complete up to date equipment can find almost everything at most surf centers. The equipment at the surf center is specifically appropriate for the spot, and you can choose from a great number of sails and boards.
