The 2013 Pocket Guide for beginners is available. The fancy looking booklet in pocket-format presents, how windsurf beginners can train and improve their windsurfing skills as fast as possible.
The Pocket Guide is for free and enables every windsurf-center, club or shop, to provide their clients with clear and useful information about windsurfing after they have finished their beginner course.
Once more, the sixth edition of the Pocket Guide was initiated by the association “World of Windsurfing e.V.”, in cooperation with the International School Association for Watersports (VDWS).
The Pocket Guide describes how to enter your surf-community as fast as possible to improve your level together with other windsurfers. It refers to the WOW Spot Guide (online), which helps people – no matter where they are – to find the nearest VDWS windsurf-center. All windsurf centers can register for free and thereby promote their spots!
The clearly structured Pocket Guide gives answers to frequently asked questions of every windsurf beginner: Where to find and rent the right equipment? Where can I improve my skills? Where to book camps or the next holiday?
Furthermore, the Guide gives insight into Stand Up Paddling and windskating.
Last but not least, the Pocket Guide contains an attractive Come2Surf offer and different coupons, like a free test subscription to the SURF-Magazin and travel bonuses. Windsurf-novices, who want to get tips and special information about different topics can register for the Come2Surf info-letter. This tool gives all VDWS windsurf-centers the opportunity to promote offers for advanced windsurfers, camps or other specials.
