The fans of windsurfing have eagerly waited for this: the dates for the German Windsurfing Cup (DWC) have now been published. The event series, initiated by the Deutschen Windsurfing Vereinigung (DWSV) and Choppy Water Gmb will consist of six events at Northsea and Baltic Sea. The disciplines are racing, slalom and wave (freestyle).
The first event of DWC will take place on 8-10 May in Dranske (Rügen), followed by Fehmarn (13-16 May), Norderney (21-24 May), Boltenhagen (2-4 July) and Sylt (21-25 July). The overall winner will then be selected in Kiel (30 July - 1st August).
