Let's get wet!

How was it again: uphaul, tack, jibe? Don't panic, for all that have never stood on the board before or whose beginner's course has been quite some time ago, the most important manoeuvers will be explained clearly and graphically based on picture series on the following pages. In addition, we will describe continuative moves and tricks step by step in this place, for you can already go about the first tricks after the first successful hours on the board.

In all of the following manoeuvers, the wind on the pictures displayed blows from the right. The windsurfer practically surfs straight away from the beach out to the water so that you can look over his shoulder. For reasons of clearness, the picture series thus always start with the bottom picture.
